This year, HW Staffing Solutions is teaming with One Warm Coat to hold a coat drive.  All the coats we collect will be delivered locally to help our neighbors who are in need of a warmer winter. Our goal is to warm 2000 people by collecting 500 coats and $1000.00!

There are several ways you can support the drive and help HWCares meet our goals:

  1. Donate coats to our drive! During Jan 20th – Feb 14th stop by one of our collections offices to drop off gently worn coats. All coats collected will be donated locally to our neighbors in need. Get all of the details here: HWCares One Warm Coat

  1. Donate dollars! Donations to One Warm Coat support their coat drive program and outreach efforts.  Every $5 donated warms 10 people- what an incredible impact!  You can donate directly to HWCares coat drive and help us reach our goals by clicking here: Donate Now

  1. Help us spread the word! There are millions of Americans who simply cannot afford a warm coat. Please help us spread the word about HWCares drive on social media so that we can collect as many coats and dollars as possible. Use #no1cold #igavewarmth #HWCares

We hope you will support us and help us make this year’s drive a huge success! Ultimately, we will be making a big impact in our local community by spreading warmth to our neighbors in need! You can learn more about One Warm Coat by visiting their website:

This is so awesome!! I am so grateful to be a part of a company who truly cares. One of my favorite quotes is “To make a difference in someone’s life you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care. Thank you team!!

I am so proud to be a part of the One Warm Coat campaign. Here in Maine we see firsthand how many people are in need, especially when the temperature hovers around 6 degrees with a severe windchill.

Thank you everyone for your support, I wanted to share a personal experience with you all. My husband said “really a coat drive” “winter is half over so people really need coats?” this made me think perhaps he is correct, so in turn, I reached out to a few organizations to ask a simple question, do you still have a need for warm coats? The responses were overwhelming. Here are just a few of the comments:

“My name is Esmeralda Araujo and I work for the Frances Perkins & HUD Programs. While in the Program families receive a variety of supportive services to assist them in moving towards self-sufficiency.
Our families would benefit from your fundraiser since 80-85% are unemployed. Our primary needs are for children but if you can include parents (adults) we would happily appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.”

    “Hi Dianne,

We could use warm coats- women’s extra extra large sizes, and especially children between 6 mos. And 5 as well as teenage sizes.

We are located at 248 Edgell Road, Framingham, MA 01701.”

“Thanks for reaching out with this kind and generous offer. We can definitely use adult size coats in sizes Large, Extra Large, and Plus Extra Large. When you’re ready, you can bring them to our Receiving Center at 18 Portland Street, which is located in the driveway along the side of the building facing the parking lot for Maria’s Restaurant. The second door at the end of the driveway is the Receiving Center. Ring the bell and we will be happy to help you. The Receiving Center hours are 9:00 am-noon, Mon-Wed-Fri, and 12:30-3:30 pm, Tue-Thurs. Please give me a call at 775-0026 if you have any questions.

Thank you for all you do,
